We're going to be out in the community over the next couple of months for Drop In Wellbeing Checks.  See below for details of where and when.

The team at Wolverhampton Healthy Minds will be out and about in the local community during July offering free Wellness Checks to members of the public.

If you drop in and see the team they will speak to you on a variety of topics including how to manage stress, anxiety and low mood with self-help information available to take away.

This is an event to promote the new “Reading Well” Books on Prescription Service in conjunction with Wolverhampton Libraries.

The team be looking at the new range of ‘Reading Well’ Books on Prescription at Wolverhampton Libraries as well and giving information on how to best use these workbooks. They will also be offering free Wellness Checks.

Wolverhampton Safeguarding Week is 11th – 17th June and this year the awareness week is focusing on raising the profile of standing up and speaking out; making sure you know what to look out for to help spot abuse, how to share concerns and provide support to those who are involved. 

There are an array of activities taking place throughout the week and different ways that you can get involved to show your support. To find more view the Wolverhampton Safeguarding website.

Today, 1st February is 'Time to Talk' day as part of the Time to Change initiative to end mental health discrimination. If you or someone you know are feeling low or stressed and would like some support, talk to us. You can complete a self-referral via the link on this site or if you prefer you can see your GP who can refer you to us.
